Where did “Cactus to Clouds” come from?
One of the hikes that is or will be covered on this site is the C2C climb from Palm Springs up San Jacinto, one of the hardest dayhikes in the USA by many estimates. It just felt like the idea of that hike embodied everything I love about exploring the outdoors while moving fast and light. Sort of the Alpine ethic applied to hiking and running.
